  3. Hey! If your site is supposed to be about world literature, why isn't [favorite language/literature] in your database?

The Babel Guides series (which includes both the printed version and the online site, babelguides.com) is an initiative to provide well-written and serious reviews of books from every world literature available in English translation. Founded in 1994 the series has been funded in piecemeal fashion by various national governments and local foundations and through sales. Our aim is to continually expand coverage but this depends on collaboration of translators, writers, dipolomats, cultural officials who can contribute intellectually and materially to this project.
